Gail Mayhew

Land Owner Consultant

Gail Mayhew is a consultant working within the areas of regeneration, master-planning and land promotion. Over a number of years she has been involved in representing client interests within the GNDP’s NE Growth Triangle.  Previously, she has worked for English Partnerships, Charterhouse Estates and Morgan Grenfell Laurie. 

She was a contributor to the Quality of Life Commission’s ‘Blueprint for a Green Economy’ setting out the case for ‘smart growth’ in land-use planning. Her research interests further include co-authoring ‘Valuing Sustainable Urbanism’ with Savills Residential Research for The Princes Foundation for the Built Environment as well as a study on innovative practice in Strategic Land Investment.

She was a Trustee of The Westway Trust, one of the most established community land trusts in the UK for 7 years, and was a co-founder of Notting Hill Preparatory School.
She studied law at the University of Edinburgh.
