Ian lives in Gorleston with his wife Jo and has 3 daughters Evie, Betsie & Gracie. He is the Chief Executive Officer at Blue Sky Leisure, a medium sized Leisure and Tourism Group operating Holiday Parks, Restaurants, Park Home developments and other property interests. The group owns Kelling Heath Holiday Park near Weybourne, its sister park, Woodhill at East Runton and also owns and operates the three Zaks Fine American Restaurants in and around Norwich.

Ian trained as a Chartered Accountant with PKF in Great Yarmouth before Joining Blue Sky Leisure as their Group Accountant. He left Blue Sky to join the finance team at Anglia Television where he quickly became the Chief Accountant and the Finance Director of two of their new media businesses. He left Anglia to join forces with his brother, Graham to take their Oil and Gas based hydraulic engineering business, Specialised Management Services forward. The business was subject to rapid growth and was eventually sold to another oil and gas group in 2005. Later that year, Ian rejoined Blue Sky Leisure in his current role as CEO.

Ian prides himself on his ability to deliver cultural change as well as having the excellent business acumen achieved through his varied career.  Ian likes to keep active out of work and has completed several numerous triathlons and marathons which he will be participating in this year. He enjoys the time spent with his family and well as a wide circle of friends.
