The Chamber has 2 special interest groups representing specialist sectors in Norfolk.
The Business and Finance group is made up of banks and accountants and is chaired by a Chamber member, David Whitehead from Larking Gowen. The role of this group is review the changing business support environment. Since it was started in July 2011 it has met with the Chair New Anglia LEP and senior representatives from HMRC based in Whitehall.
The group is chaired by a Norfolk Chamber Board director, Jonathan Cage. The group was formed in July 2011 to assist the Norfolk business community to understand the significant changes which were affecting planning. It was also noted that the two LEPs, covering Norfolk did not have planning experts on their Boards and therefore this Chamber group could provide help and guidance.
