Bicycle Links is a friendly bike-recycling workshop in central Norwich. We run workshops, repair and sell second-hand bikes and encourage safer cycling skill
As a social enterprise, Bicycle Links tries to go beyond the usual bike shop activities. We want to include and involve members of the community – that’s residents and businesses in our street, local cyclists, interested Norfolk people, council officers who are promoting cycling, organisations working to reduce inequality and improve health and wellbeing.. it’s a long list.
Our core activity of running the shop keeps the doors open and the lights on. Beyond that, the possibilities are limitless.
Our professional repair workshop can carry out all bike repairs from simple punctures through to servicing carbon and electric cycles. We are members of ACT, the Association of Cycle Traders, and our staff are Cytech trained.
If you leave a bike with us we’ll take your phone number in case additional work is needed – we’ll always check with you first. We aim to fix punctures on the spot, if you want, but for other repairs you will need to leave your cycle with us. Payment is by card or cash, on collection.
Courtesy bike – if you are leaving your bike with us for a service or super service, for a single charge of £15 you can borrow a courtesy bike until we have carried out your repair
Our new cycle range includes Orbea, Ridgeback, Raleigh, Dawes and Surly, plus quality children’s Frog bikes.
We have a great selection of secondhand bikes at a range of prices, often from as little as £100, and we aim to keep a range of styles, sizes and prices available. If we don’t have what you are looking for immediately, we often have it ‘in the pipeline’ – just ask.
Because our stock is constantly changing we don’t post details of every bike here, but as a guide:
Norwich is the perfect size for getting about by bike, and Norfolk – well, with low rolling countryside it doesn’t get much better for cycling. We have lots of bikes available in various sizes, and with crossbar or step-through frames, which you can hire from a day (or part of) to a whole week.
