I’m Pete Goodrum. I’m a writer and broadcaster. Wearing my marketing hat I write copy and content for a wide range of clients. I also write, and present, tv documentaries. I broadcast on radio, on a range of subjects. As an author I’ve written several books on local history.

I write articles, editorial and reviews for various magazines.

My book, NORWICH IN THE 1950s,  spent nineteen weeks in the top 5 of the Archant Jarrolds Local Best Sellers chart. NORWICH IN THE 1960s went straight to the number one spot. Other books of mine include NORFOLK BROADS: THE BIOGRAPHY, FIVE NORWICH LIVES and NORWICH IN THE 1970s.

I wrote and presented the film SIXTEEN MINUTES which was originally produced for Mustard TV and subsequently commissioned by BBC TV.

The tv series NORFOLK'S HIDDEN GEMS was produced, written and presented by me.

I wrote 'Jarrold 250' - a history of the Jarrold organisation to celebrate their 250th anniversary. Stephen Fry, who wrote the Foreword said "I do hope Pete Goodrum will sit down for a signing session. I'll happily join the queue”

I do a lot of public speaking. From talks, often based on my books, to corporate events to compering shows I’ve got bookings for a long time ahead. But there’s always room for more….
