Paul Maskall, Dardan Security
Our Relationship with Technology:

With a background in Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies, working in Intelligence, counter terrorism and notably within the force's joint cybercrime unit as their Cyber Security Advisor. Paul is passionate about protecting both people and businesses. Privacy and Data Protection, Counter Fraud or Cyber Security, Paul believes in emphasising the behavioural and social approach and finding a balance with the technical one.
Now as the Head of Cyber, Risk and Technology for Dardan Security, Paul leads on integrating innovative technology to improve the point where physical and information security meets.

Jim Palmer, Netmatters Ltd
Becoming Paperless:
This presentation will be showcasing our own journey to become paperless and giving advice to other businesses on how they can become fully paperless, through systemisation and improving processes using technology.
Most businesses I talk to would like to go paperless but they don't know how to start, let alone manage the transition. This presentation will run over the myths and barriers that hinder a business going paperless.

I went to UEA to get my degree in computer science and after university I became a Java developer for a few years in a very dynamic start up and then a more established company before I had my children. After children I have returned to become a teacher and now lecture in computing, with a passion for cyber security, at City College and run the Norwich Chapter of Ladies Hacking Society – a not for profit that use amazing software built by Immersive Labs that uses gamification to teach women technical skills needed for a career in Cyber Security.
