What makes our events different?
There are many groups and business that have events on in Norfolk, so why should you want to attend ours?
A dedicated events team
Our events team are there to ensure that every part of our events meets our member’s expectations, from planning the event itself & ensuring that they run smoothly on the day.
A diverse range of delegates
With over 950 business members ranging from new start-ups to large corporates and covering a wide range of sectors from retail to manufacturing, you can be sure that you will never get the same people at every event, and that there will certainly be someone there worth your time to speak to.
Badges and delegate List
You will receive a delegate list at least two days in advance to allow you to identify who you would like to meet at the event and even contact in advance. Everyone who attends is given a pre-made badge with their name and company name, making it easier for you to identify who you are speaking to.
Range of events
From breakfasts, exhibitions, evening socialising, conferences & policy events there is always something for every type of business.
What type of business events do we do?
A popular way to start the day. These events are held bi-monthly in Norwich and Great Yarmouth and twice a year in King’s Lynn. Each event is different and ranges from presentations by business or public sector leaders, including Ministers. The morning will be filled with our networking activities to help break the ice and get delegates talking to those all-important contacts for the future.
Our series of evening networking events enables business people to get together in a relaxed location after work for a glass of something cool and learn a new skill…like making cocktails or bowling! Although the atmosphere is very laid back firm relationships are created and serious business is done.
Exhibitions and Conferences
Perhaps the best-known of all the Chamber events is the annual B2B Exhibition. For over 17 years they have attracted businesses from all sectors across Norfolk. Also now well established is the annual Sustainability event, which discusses opportunities in the low carbon and sustainability field.
The Chamber’s Digital and Technology Conference is becoming a hugely successful event. This is an interactive half day technology event on how the digital revolution and technology is shaping the future of business. With an incredible line up of national and local industry experts, practical workshops, networking opportunities and an exhibition over 120 delegates attended in 2016.
