Prior Diesel Appoints New Business Development Manager
Great Yarmouth based Prior Diesel, a Suretank company and leading global supplier of diesel driven power solutions and well service products, has appointed Daniel Peacock as New Business Development Manager for Aberdeen.
Daniel has over 16 years experience working in the oil and gas industry. He started his career as a mechanical technician before moving into project management gaining his PRINCE2 certification and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training. He brings with him experience of building DNV 2.7-2 certified equipment for hazardous areas and project managed the first ever fully compliant steam generator. All of this experience has proven invaluable for his more recent transition two years ago into sales and new business development.
Based in Aberdeen, Daniel's new role at Prior Diesel will see him contribute to the growth of the company through identifying new business opportunities in Aberdeen and the North Sea corridor.

A fearless mountain biker and keen scuba diver, Daniel lives in Arbroath with his wife and two children.
Established in 1980, Prior Diesel serves the oil and gas, marine and industrial sectors from its headquarters on Gapton Hall Road in Great Yarmouth. It has an international reputation for high quality design, manufacture and servicing of a wide range of hazardous area equipment, particularly well service equipment including nitrogen pumps, specialist skids, coil tubing and wireline units for the offshore industry.
Prior Diesel was acquired by Suretank in January 2015. Suretank is the world’s largest manufacturer of tanks and cargo-carrying units for the offshore oil and gas industry and all of its products are produced to DNV 2.7-1 certification as standard.
Suretank products are found worldwide, including the North Sea, West Africa, Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Caspian, Sakhalin, India, Australia, Middle East and the Far East. Its product range includes chemical and acid tanks, helifuel tanks, offshore containers, baskets, mud skips and cryogenic tanks.
